Someone set this gem out out on the curb in Park Slope Brooklyn & then sauntered away casually:
All...'I'm just gonna put this here on my way to catch the subway for work...
....and I'm taking the seat cushion with me & leaving my Village Voice & empty iced latte razzmatazz cup' Wtf? Rude.
Ok, ok-- maybe they didn't take the cushion & some less fortunate homeless soul nabbed it for sleeping, etc...that does happen...in any case, cushions are relatively cheap to have made & this lady needs to be reupholstered anyway...but look at that sumptuous wooden frame? Those legs for dayzzz!
Hi...I'm single & ready to mingle!
And I've got BACK too!
I'd refinish the wood trim-- maybe lacquered black & then add a fantastic fabric, like this lover-ly print by Itsy Belle Studio, available at minted:
$32/yd cotton canvas & $34/yd linen-cotton blend
Or this gorg floral fantasy, called English Garden by Alethea and Ruth, also on minted:
Same pricing as above fabric
To make her really sing, I'd refinish the wood trim w/a gray stain or strip the current finish & distress it a little then just poly it...perfection!
Now go out & hit the streets peeps-- it's FRIDAY & there's plenty of FREE SHIOT for the taking & TRANSFORMING!
