BIO

PJ Mehaffey is a style personality + decorating dynamo with experience in interior decorating, prop + set styling, market editing and performing. Equally adept with a glue gun or a microphone, the former Real Simple Magazine Style Market Editor launched Alchemy Eclectic in 2011, an interiors styling business merging pop + luxe aesthetics with repurposed vintage elements. With PJ's blend of insider expertise and high-energy sass, there’s no decorating dilemma he can’t solve. He rocks an unconventionally chic and cost-conscious decorating approach.

PJ’s work appears regularly in national magazines, catalogs and advertisements. As an "Inspired Insider" for Art.com, he dishes out his decorating philosophy (and other hijinks) on his blog, Blog-A-Dazzle. PJ has contributed style, décor and DIY content to editorials including People Magazine's  "Celebrity Food section," Good Housekeeping, Better Homes & Gardens, as well as original blog content reposted on West Elm’s "Front & Main"and Apartment Therapy. PJ's current apartment was featured in Design*Sponge's "Sneak Peek" column; and his former apartment was published in the book, Design*Sponge: At Home (Artisan).

PJ is the co-creator and producer of style television show concepts: Junkin', Trash NYC, Style Rehab and The Big Move, pitched to major cable networks. He currently lives in the “chic-est” place on earth in Brooklyn, NY — naturally.
